Educational assistance — Albert Baker Fund
Albert Baker was Mary Baker Eddy’s beloved older brother who took a tender interest in her education and tutored her many subjects, including Latin and Greek.
The Albert Baker Fund supports the important role that education plays in the growth of every individual and it nurture the educational aspirations of today’s Christian Science students in much the same way that Albert encouraged his sister.
Tuition scholarships/grants are provided for students of Christian Science to pursue degrees or certificates at accredited post-secondary institutions (colleges, universities, and vocational schools), including tuition support for Christian Science nurses training.
The Albert Baker Fund help students through and beyond their college years with there innovative mentoring program that assist them to succeed in their careers and lives.
Financial assistance — The Principle Foundation
The Principle Foundation offers grants to individual Christian Scientists who have a short-term financial need. They may offer a one-time grant in support of essential needs such as: food, rent or mortgage, utilities, emergencies such as auto repairs and disaster relief.
They may also fund select Church Manual-based activities: Journal-listed Christian Science practitioner fees (up to 50%) and Christian Science visiting nurse fees (including supplies and equipment).

National Fund for Christian Science Nursing
The National Fund for Christian Science Nursing (NFCSN) provides grants to individuals who are under the care of a Christian Science nurse. The grants apply toward Christian Science nursing bills, whether at home or a facility, and related Christian Science practitioner bills. Details about the program can be found at: nfcsn.org
The Marlene F. Johnson Memorial Fund
The Marlène F. Johnson Fund supports scholarly work relating to a religious body that has shared in contemporary life for over 130 years. Through research initiatives and project grants, the Fund seeks to foster an environment in which serious research and fresh insight on this spiritual tradition can flourish.
Mission
The Fund provides financial support for serious scholarly studies on Christian Science and the Church of Christ, Scientist. Its purpose is to contribute to a climate of honest scholarship in regard to the Church and its mission. As an independent source of support for scholarly work, the Fund takes this ideal seriously from both a religious and an academic perspective. Profound respect for truth is indispensable to the life of religion, as prophets through the ages have pointed out.
